Locally listed hospitality firm Banyan Group (formerly Banyan Tree Holdings) has launched its new residential development, Banyan Tree Beach Residences Oceanus, in Phuket, Thailand. Situated on Bang Tao Beach, the project lies within a private enclave of Banyan Group’s flagship Laguna Phuket resort. It features 16 beachfront residences, with sizes ranging from 416 sq m to 768 sq m for the penthouses.
Ground-floor residences will feature private pools extending from their terraces, while penthouses will offer views of Thailand’s Andaman Sea from spacious living area balconies and rooftop terraces with private pools and reflecting ponds.
Residences will also feature living areas over 13m wide, double master bedrooms and luxury bathrooms. The group adds that to complete the exclusive lifestyle, a dedicated lap pool with a sun deck, along with an open lawn featuring loungers and an outdoor dining area, is reserved solely for the privileged few residents.
Residents of Banyan Tree Beach Residences Oceanus will also benefit from community facilities at the integrated resort, including membership at Laguna Golf Phuket and a complimentary Thailand Elite visa, which provides a five-year multiple-entry privilege. They will enjoy exclusive access to amenities such as a private beach club, premium health and wellness facilities from BDMS Wellness, and signature restaurants, spas and recreational facilities.
The group expects record prices due to rising demand for luxury real estate in Phuket. Stuart Reading, managing director of Bantan Group Residences, adds: “Since there is no longer enough prime beachfront land to build individual standalone villas, we have identified a new opportunity to develop much larger, highly luxurious beachfront condominiums which provide as much living space as a villa, but in a turnkey solution where you don’t have to manage the grounds yourself.”
