Frasers Hospitality Trust and its sponsor Frasers Property have both called for a trading halt, pending an announcement.
On April 23, FHT said it is conducting a “review” of its strategy, to “ensure alignment” of the interests of its sponsor and stapled security holders.
Frasers Property, the sponsor, tried to privatise FHT back in Sept 2022 at 70 cents per stapled security but was voted down by shareholders by a narrow margin.
FHT closed at 67 cents on May 9, up 16.67% year to date.
Frasers Property closed at 82 cents on May 9, down 12.37% year to date.
Separately, Ossia International has called for a trading halt as well.
