Savills Singapore has appointed Cheng Su Chen as group managing director of its property management and facilities services business, according to a May 23 release. Cheng’s appointment comes alongside other senior promotions within the department.
Under her new role, Cheng is expected to oversee the entire property management (PM), facilities management (FM) and facilities services business within Savills Singapore’s portfolio.
Cheng will also lead a newly established Savills property and facilities board (PM & FM), which will include newly promoted senior managing director Robin Leow.
Leow will assist Cheng in driving integration as well as leading the FM business both locally and regionally.
The board will also include Winnie Wong and Ken Lew. Wong was recently appointed to the position of senior managing director, overseeing the growth and development of Savills’ PM business, while Lew currently runs the consultancy’s cleaning services subsidiary utilising robotics technology and IoT.
Cheng has 24 years of experience in the FM and facilities services industry. This includes expertise in spearheading transformative strategies, driving multi-million-dollar growth, pioneering technology and innovation, and developing excellence across a plethora of asset classes.
Cheng has held senior positions in other FM companies, securing high-value contracts with clients such as Singapore Sports Hub, ITE College West, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Social and Family Development. Cheng has also managed regional FM operations in Thailand and China.
