This International Women’s Day, Regine Phay shares her story: From being a stay-at-home mom to becoming an industry trainer, speaker, ERA Rising Millionaire award-winner, and team leader, her story is proof that success is possible with the right mindset and heart, no matter where you start.
For Phay, real estate is much more than buying and selling properties — it’s about helping families create a better future. “To me, family comes first. I understand how every decision we make not only affects ourselves but also those we love — and this is something that resonates with everyone. Even my decision to return to the industry was one of deep reflection. I wanted a career that would offer the flexibility to be present for my children as they grow, while also showing them that, despite any challenges, I can always create something for myself, rise above any obstacle, and ultimately create a better future for them as well.”

After spending five years as a homemaker, Phay returned to the industry in 2018 with determination and focus. What followed was a series of milestones, each demonstrating her ability to adapt, learn, and succeed.
“I had to relearn everything — from market trends to financial models,” she recalls. “But luckily, the Galaxy 4C Framework gave me the clarity and strategy I needed to connect with clients and grow my confidence.”
With perseverance and hard work, Regine built strong relationships with clients, helping them make confident decisions for their future. “The most rewarding part of my work is seeing my clients feel secure in their choices,” she says.
Today, Regine is not just an accomplished realtor — she is a mentor, trainer, and role model. She has consistently earned top awards such as the ERA Rising Millionaire and Top Division Director awards. But what truly defines her is her heart — her commitment to family, her belief in doing what’s right, and her passion for lifting others up.

Beyond sales, Phay is a respected leader in the new launch arena. As the ERA Project Director for high-profile projects like Emerald of Katong, 21 Anderson, 32 Gilstead, and Watten House, Phay plays an instrumental role in liaising with developers and leading and training agents.

Becoming a speaker at the Emerald of Katong consumer talk was an unexpected yet meaningful milestone in Phay’s journey. Public speaking was not something she envisioned, but when the opportunity arose, she saw it as a chance to step up and support others.
“Being entrusted with this role was humbling,” she shares. “It wasn’t just about sharing information — it was about helping buyers make informed decisions. Growth isn’t just about accumulating knowledge — it’s about using it to create a positive impact.”

Phay’s passion for real estate ignited during her own home search. Overwhelmed by the process, she and her husband realised there was no clear guide for first-time buyers. That experience fuelled her desire to help others avoid the same uncertainty.
For Phay, real estate is about empowering clients to make decisions that align with their long-term goals. “Every client deserves clear, honest advice tailored to their unique situation,” she says. “I want them to feel supported and confident every step of the way.”
Her expertise in market trends, finance, and regulations allows her to guide clients with clarity. “I take the time to listen and provide tailored advice,” she adds. “Buying a home isn’t just a transaction — it’s a decision that shapes their future.”
A memorable deal: securing a family’s future
During the pandemic, a family turned to Phay, unsure whether to hold onto their home or make a change. She carefully walked them through their options, breaking down market trends — especially the growing demand for larger homes — to help them make an informed decision.
With an HDB and a one-plus-study private unit, they needed a strategic restructuring plan. Phay crafted a solution that minimised upfront costs while maximising future flexibility. Today, the family owns four properties and are in a stronger financial position.
“Referrals and repeat business aren’t just about deals — they’re proof I’ve made a real difference,” Phay says. “It means my clients trust me, not just as their agent, but as someone who cares about their family’s future.”

Phay’s success is deeply rooted in her family. Behind every achievement is the quiet support of her husband, Anders, and their two children. Together, they balance ambition with family, ensuring their children feel their presence despite busy schedules.
“It’s the little moments — walking them to school, helping with their homework, and tucking them in — that mean the most,” Phay says. “No matter where my career takes me, my children will always be at the heart of everything I do and they will always have my unconditional love and support.”

I want to show them that with courage, resilience, and by doing what’s right, anything is possible — even when the challenges seem too big.”

Looking back, Phay reflects: “Life has its ups and downs, but every experience has made me stronger. Instead of fearing failure, I’ve learned to embrace it and keep moving forward. When you act with sincerity and give your best, people notice, trust you, and doors open. If I can do it, anyone can.”
