Global property consultancy JLL has appointed Rosari Chia as its head of office leasing advisory for Indonesia with immediate effect, according to a May 14 press release.
The move was the latest in a series of new appointments to JLL Indonesia’s leadership team. In March, the firm appointed Vivin Harsanto to the newly created role of head of growth for Indonesia while Panji Aziz assumed the role of head of tenant representation for Indonesia.
“Chia’s appointment aims to strengthen JLL’s market position and ensure the delivery of high-quality, tailored services that meet the evolving needs of our Indonesian clients,” says the firm.
In her new capacity, Chia is responsible for JLL’s office leasing platform in Indonesia and facilitating the delivery of transactional and leasing advisory services to the firm’s clients in Indonesia. She will also join JLL Indonesia’s country leadership team, working with executives across business lines in the region.
“With her wealth of local experience and depth of client relationships, Rosari is a natural choice to lead our Indonesia office leasing advisory business to facilitate the next era of growth in this dynamic space,” says Farazia Basarah, country head of JLL Indonesia.
“Rosari’s track record is exceptional and her ascension to this leadership role corresponds with our commitment to elevating our next generation of leaders across Southeast Asia,” adds Michael Glancy, JLL’s managing director for Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
Chia joined JLL in 2006 and has worked in a variety of leasing roles, completing many complex deals and negotiations primarily in the metro Jakarta region. She has also served as co-leader of Indonesia’s Women Transforming Tech and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion networks.
